books on lung cancer

June 23, 2009

Want to learn more about lung cancer? Great! In addition to the online info that’s available (see our Lung Cancer Resources page), there are some worthwhile books … not as many as for other types of cancers, though; yet another confirmation of the invisibility of lung cancer.

The National Lung Cancer Partnership provides a linked book list. They will receive a portion of the purchase price of any goods purchased from Amazon when linking from their site. (Note: if you use the AdBlock Plus extension in Firefox, you won’t be able to see the book names and details – I configured my ABP to unblock that page only.)

One book I highly recommend which isn’t on the NLCP list: lung cancer survivor Lori Hope‘s excellent “Help Me Live: 20 Things People With Cancer Want You To Know”.

Just found Lori’s “What Helps. What Hurts. What Heals.” blog – great information there, too.
